We're so EXCITED: Get the inside scoop!!!

Too many exclamation points right out of the gate?!!!  Oopsies!!  We’re just so excited to give you a glimpse of what’s been happening and where we’re headed.

If you’ve been wondering how things are at Eden or how you can continue to partner with this life-affirming ministry, we've got you covered!

As we reach (a little past) the midpoint of 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for all that God has done - and continues to do - through your faithful prayers, generous giving, and steady support.

The year so far has brought exciting progress, new opportunities, and a few beautiful surprises - we’re thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes developments!

Building Update: Prayers for Progress

Our building remains on the market, and we’re very encouraged by the interest of a potential local buyer.

What it Means for Eden

One likely possibility, should the sale move forward, is a lease-back agreement. This would allow Eden to continue operating from our current location without the risks and responsibilities of ownership. A promising report from our treasurer indicates that the proceeds from a sale would more than cover the cost of the lease, providing both a place to continue our work and strengthening our financial outlook for the future.

Partner in Prayer

Above all, we are seeking God’s will for Eden in every detail. We invite you to join us in prayer asking for His guidance and timing in the sale of our suites, thanking Him in advance for His protection, provision, and blessing over all parties involved.

Behind the scenes: Where Grant Support Stands

Respect Life Grant

Thanks to Respect Life Grant funding from the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma, we were able to refresh and update key program marketing materials, secure new educational resources and meet a long-time goal of developing a completion gift for the dads in our Just for Dad program.  Many thanks to James Foster for submitting this grant request which supported the Just for Dad and Karis Programs!

Updated Brochures, Rack Cards, Business Cards, and Appointment Cards
New Karis resources and Symptom Checker

Choosing Childbirth Grant

We are currently contracted through the Oklahoma Life Foundation (OLF) to receive reimbursement from the Choosing Childbirth Grant. Though we have not yet received reimbursement I’m encouraged in sharing that our first round of requests has been submitted to the State, and OLF is optimistic we’ll see movement in the coming weeks. Your continued prayers are deeply appreciated: for wisdom and guidance as we navigate this process, favor as our documentation is reviewed, and provision while we wait.

What it means for Eden

These reimbursements could be game-changing! However, grant funding is never a guarantee, it's only one part of our long-term strategy.   When dealing with grants, we also have to be mindful of our commitment to honor God, submit to the steps he directs us to take, and to serve with integrity - if any grant ever compromised that, we’d walk away - no matter the amount - which is why we keep asking if God is calling you to be part of Eden’s long-term financial foundation!

We must continue to develop a strong network of monthly partners who believe in the mission - to provide alternatives to abortion, build strong families, and offer compassionate healing and support after abortion - and who want to be part of ensuring this ministry not only survives, but thrives for years to come.

Help Write The Next Chapter

Would you prayerfully consider looking for margin in your budget to join us as a monthly supporter? Your faithful giving creates the kind of stability, flexibility, and freedom that allows us to focus fully on what matters most: serving women and families with compassion, truth, and hope.

Meeting More Needs: Program Updates

Bright Birth Academy

We’re thrilled to share that our birth preparation class Bright Birth Academy has officially launched! The groundwork for this program began last year and we’ve now successfully walked alongside two full groups of expectant moms and their support persons as they prepare for birth. Feedback has been incredibly encouraging!  Our moms report feeling more confident about the birth process, better equipped to advocate for themselves, and more connected in communicating with their partners about support and shared decision-making.

Group Empower Classes

We’ve also launched our first-ever group Empower class! One of the things that makes our parenting program unique is that we typically offer classes in a one-on-one environment to foster building trust and relationship - transformation happens in the context of relationship.  However, we know scheduling challenges can sometimes limit participation. Offering this group class during early evening hours has opened the door for working parents and partners—especially fathers—to join in.

The group dynamic is different from what we’re used to, but it has been beautiful to watch young families form connections, share their experiences, and realize they’re not alone on this journey.

Step Into The Story

We are looking to grow our team of volunteer Client Advocates for moms and for dads. These volunteers meet one-on-one with clients who have chosen to parent their baby and enrolled in our Empower Parenting or Just For Dad program. Client Advocates provide encouragement, education, and spiritual support as clients prepare for the arrival of their child and navigate early parenthood.  We have families who are interested in joining, but no available advocates.

If you were waiting on a “push” to get started - this is it!

Qualifications:

  • A personal relationship with Christ and a daily life that reflects biblical values.
  • A heart to be a hands on part of the story of moms, babies, and families being supported, strengthened, and equipped for this season of their life.
  • A commitment of approximately 8–12 hours per month.  We request that you are willing to commit to at least 12 months in order to foster meaningful relationships throughout the client’s pregnancy and infancy stages.

This typically looks like doing a 4-6 hour volunteer shift every other week (i.e 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 9:30 to 2).  During these shifts you will meet with clients, document appointments and do light administrative tasks to keep the programs running smoothly.  Training is provided.

By The Numbers: A Story in the Stats

While communication from the Pregnancy Resource Network of Oklahoma has indicated that many pregnancy care centers across the state are experiencing a dip in client numbers, Eden Clinic is seeing a slightly different trend. we have noticed a decrease in "kept" appointments, however, we have actually served about 5% more individual clients than this time last year.

Here's an impact snapshot of the year so far:

  • 217 clients served across 412 appointments
  • 170 ultrasounds
  • 20 abortion-minded/undecided women received one-on-one counseling — 7 of whom stated they decided to carry their baby to term.
    • An additional 17 women identified as high-risk for abortion due to history, external pressure, or other influencing factors were met with compassionate care and practical support. Several of these women have since participated in parenting and birth classes.  We’re honored to get to continue walking alongside them in their journey toward motherhood.
  • Over 80 hours of parenting education provided to 38 clients

Each of these numbers represents a person, a story, and a step forward.

Thank you for making this possible.

Strengthening Our Foundation: New Roles Ahead

For the past several years, Lynn Droescher has faithfully served as Volunteer Coordinator while also playing an instrumental role in the development and growth of our client education programs. With those programs now firmly established, Lynn is looking forward to transitioning back to the Client Advocate role, focusing her service on serving women and families.

As we look to the future, we’re prayerfully seeking an addition to the team who is passionate about building on this strong foundation. An official job listing hasn’t been posted yet because we wanted to first cast the net within our community of supporters.

We are looking for someone to step into a multi-faceted role that includes direct client service, program oversight, volunteer recruitment and training, administrative support, and grant coordination. That sounds like five different jobs (it kind of is), but above all, we’re seeking someone whose heart beats for this mission and we're trusting God to work out the details as we go.

In addition, we are exploring the opportunity to bring on someone in a role similar to a Director of Development.  Someone who would help carry the responsibility of fundraising, building and nurturing relationships with supporters and churches, coordinating donor communications, and supporting engagement through social media and storytelling. This could be a great internship or entry-level opportunity for someone pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public administration, or nonprofit management, who is looking for real-world experience while serving a life-affirming mission.

Here's Where You Come In

If you - or someone you know - feels called to explore any of these opportunities, we would love to begin a conversation.

Fresh and Fabulous: A Space Transformed

Thanks to an amazing group of volunteers from Frisco Baptist Church in Texas, the clinic is looking fresher and more welcoming than ever! From bright artwork to cozy new rugs and thoughtful decorative touches, our classroom and waiting area have been given a cheerful, inviting facelift - even our staff break area got a pick me up. These generous helpers also rolled up their sleeves to organize our storage shed and clean up the surrounding area.  It was a hot and dirty job, but their upbeat attitudes and hard work have really given Eden a boost!

Staff and patients alike are loving how light and bright things feel right when you walk in the door - we’d love for you and your small group to come visit and see the transformation for yourselves!

Keep the Transformation Going!

We want to continue adding to this fresh look and would love your assistance! If you have new or gently used décor items that match this bright, soft, welcoming style, we’d be grateful to put them to good use. We’re specifically looking for updated wall hangings and area rugs (size 4'x6') to warm up two rooms we use for consultations, counseling, and classes. Every detail helps create a space where clients feel safe, valued, and at home.

Medical Team News

God is always on the move and never fails to provide exactly what we need - right when we need it.  Our nurse manager, Chelsea, recently had to move out of the metro area unexpectedly.  To say we are sad to see her go would be a massive understatement, but even in the midst of this, we are incredibly grateful for God’s timing in connecting us with Susan Armstrong, an experienced RN who has worked with Eden in the past!

Susan’s valuable experience will allow us to continue offering STI screenings, which is an essential part of our community outreach.  Once her training in limited OB ultrasound scanning is complete, we’ll be back to offering ultrasounds every day the clinic is open!

Join the Journey

We are always looking for RNs or RDMSs who are willing to volunteer - whether on a regular basis or as needed. If you're qualified and feel called to serve in this way, we’d love to talk with you!

We provide baby bottles, promotional materials, and are more than happy to visit your church or group to share about Eden and help launch your campaign.

Funds raised through this project go directly toward the essentials that keep our services running!
